Is UAE eVisa process affected by UAE National Holidays?

The Consular Department of UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be closed on public holidays as below details:

 

  • Gregorian New Year: held on 1st January.
  • Eid Al Fitr: The exact date varies base on the Islamic calendar. In 2020, it will fall on 23rd, 24th, 25th,26th May.
  • Arafah day: The exact date varies base on the Islamic calendar. In 2020, it will fall on 30th July.
  • Eid Al Adha: The exact date varies base on the Islamic calendar. In 2020, it will fall on 31st July, 1st and 2nd August.
  • Hijri New Year: The exact date varies base on the Islamic calendar. In 2020, it will fall on 23rd August.
  • The Prophet's Mohammed birthday: The exact date varies. In 2020, it will fall on 29th October.
  • Commemoration Day: held on 1st December.
  • National Day: held on 2th and 3rd December.

 

It is important for applicants to take note all of these UAE national holidays since the processing time of your UAE visa online will be postponed and endured.
